As of March 31, 2012, Bungie will no longer host any Halo services on Bungie.net. Current Halo data will be transferred to 343 and, at that time, “all live Halo data will be managed by 343 Industries, and Bungie will no longer be able to update game stats and player service records, to host new user generated content, or to operate the Bungie Pro service.” Using a peculiar bit of language, Bungie notes that “any replacement functionality” will be hosted by Halo Waypoint on halo.xbox.com.
Sad to see bungie moving on, but 343′s done pretty well so far, I’ve been fairly happy with the Halo Waypoint relaunch, and very happy with Halo Anniversary.

Yesterday, I lost my day job. I was fired for some rather dubious reasons, but it boiled down to the fact that someone on the board of directors didn’t like the fact that I had a job, so they lobbied to correct that situation, and thus I find myself wondering how I’m going to make my next mortgage payment, or how I’m going to buy my next beer (answer, no beer until I’m back in the work force).
That being said, now that I’m temporarily unemployed, I’m going to devote much more time to the various websites that I have created and just let coast, including www.internet-d.com www.movieties.com and www.myconfinedspace.com My first task to to create a new “landing page” for mcs. This also means TIMELY posts on internet-d and movieties, so please feel free to visit those sites.
Another thing this means? I’m going to be in the MCS chatroom MUCH more, and I’m going to need people to talk to, so feel free to swing on by. This is going to be a full time gig for a while, so starting 8:30am EST until
“produced for sexynerdgirlproductions”
sigh. at least it’s a start.

I’m sure everyone’s heard the story by now, but apparently he was broken up with right before he was able to propose to his girl. With the ring, he did what any true Halo fan would do: pawn it and buy a Spartan suit.
This is the ONLY thing so far that would make me buy one of those $100/$150 addons. Meh. maybe I’ll borrow a friends for a weekend.
The newest addition to Nick Jensen’s collection of brick-built Halo weapons is this life-sized reproduction of the Sniper Rifle System 99 Anti-Matériel (aka Halo sniper rifle) made almost entirely from LEGO.
